Refinance Rates Make New Record Lows 30 Year Mortgage Rates Today at 3.57%

Refinance rates today on 30 year conventional mortgages hit another all-time record low. Current refinance rates on 30 year loans are averaging 3.57 percent, a decline from yesterday's average 30 year rate of 3.60 percent. Average 30 year refinance rates have made so many record lows this year we have lost count.

Earlier in 2012 when 30 year refinancing rates broke through 4.00 percent market analysts believe that would be the low point. Now 30 year refi rates are about to break through 3.50 percent.

The Federal Reserve is believe to act again in the coming months since the economy is slowing down. The Fed is expected to start more quantitative easing to drive bond yields and mortgage rates even lower. The hope is lower rates will spur demand for loans and help the housing market.

Today's refinance rates on 15 year conventional loans are averaging 2.97 percent, down from yesterday's average 15 year refinance mortgage rate of 2.98 percent. 15 year refi rates are just above record lows of 2.96 percent set last week.

Adjustable refinance rates are mixed today, average 5 year conforming adjustable refi rates are at 3.08 percent, an increase from yesterday's average 5 year refi rate of 3.05 percent. Current 5 year jumbo refinance rates are averaging 2.86 percent, unchanged from yesterday's average rate.
