Mortgage Rates Retreat, Last Chance to Refinance: 30 Year Mortgage Rates at 4.16%Mortgage rates increased again today following an uptrend of the past week. 30 year mortgage rates which just over a week ago hit a low of 3.94% are now averaging 4.16%. 30 year mortgage rates tomorrow will probably go up to 4.25% if bond yields continue to rise. If you're a rate watcher waiting to refinance  you would lock in a rate now. Unless the economy dips back into a recession 30 year mortgage rates will stay above 4.00%. 15 year mortgage rates are also higher averaging 3.43%, an increase from an average 15 year mortgage rate of 3.38% yesterday.

Today's 30 year jumbo mortgage rates are averaging 4.61%, an increase from yesterday's average 30 year jumbo mortgage rate of 4.60%. 15 year jumbo mortgage rates currently are averaging 3.84%, up from yesterday's average 15 year jumbo mortgage rate of 3.82%.

3 year adjustable mortgage rates today are averaging 2.76%, down from last week’s average 3 year adjustable mortgage rate of 2.97%.

5 year adjustable mortgage rates are averaging 3.13%, an increase from the prior week’s average 5 year adjustable rate of 2.99%.

Current 7 year adjustable mortgage rates are averaging 3.19%, down from the previous week’s average 7 year adjustable mortgage rate of 3.30%.

10 year adjustable mortgage rates currently are averaging 3.60%, an increase from last week’s average 10 year adjustable rate of 3.59%.

Adjustable Jumbo Mortgage Rates

Current 1 year jumbo adjustable mortgage rates are averaging 4.05%, unchanged from last week’s average adjustable jumbo mortgage rate.

3 year adjustable jumbo rates today are averaging lower at 3.40%, down from last week’s average 3 year jumbo adjustable rate of 3.58%.

5 year adjustable jumbo mortgage rates and refinance rates currently are averaging 3.11%, a decrease from last week’s average jumbo adjustable rate of 3.21%.

7 year jumbo adjustable mortgage rates and refinance rates today are averaging 3.69%, up from last week’s average 7 year adjustable home loan rate of 3.54%.

10 year jumbo loan rates and refi rates are averaging 4.03%, up from the prior week’s average 10 year jumbo home mortgage loan rate of 3.89%.

5 year IO adjustable loan mortgage rates and mortgage refinance rates are averaging 3.45%, up from last week’s average five year interest only mortgage rate of 3.23%.

7 year interest only adjustable mortgage rates and refinance rates are averaging 3.47%, down from last week’s average 7 year interest-only mortgage interest rate of 3.49%.

Today’s 3 year jumbo interest only adjustable loan rates are averaging 3.57%, down from last week’s average jumbo adjustable interest only rate of 3.76%.

Current 5 year adjustable jumbo interest only rates are averaging 3.52%, an increase from last week’s average IO home mortgage interest rate of 3.46%.

Today’s 7 year jumbo interest only adjustable rates are averaging 3.82%, up from last week’s average jumbo 7 year home mortgage loan rate of 3.73%.

10 year home equity loan rates are averaging 6.52%, down from last week’s average home equity loan rate of 6.60%.
