Mortgage Refinance Rates Mixed Today, Lowest 15 Year Conventional Refinance Rates at 2.25 Percent

Average mortgage refinance rates today are mixed, no big changes in average rates as we head into the Thanksgiving Holiday week. Average 15 year conventional refinance rates are at 2.83 percent, no change from yesterday's average 15 year refinance rate. The lowest current refinance rates available right now in the state of New Jersey are much lower than the average at 2.25 percent.

New Jersey isn't the only state on our refinance rates lists that you can find 15 year rates so low. In the states of California, Texas, New York, Florida and many other states you can find lenders quoting refinance rates on 15 year conforming loans as low as 2.25 percent with points. Without points you can find lenders quoting 15 year refinancing rates as low as 2.375 percent or 2.50 percent depending on the state you live in.

Average 30 year conforming refinance mortgage rates are at 3.41 percent, also unchanged from yesterday's average 30 year rate. There are lenders quoting refinance mortgage rates on 30 year conforming loans well below the average of 3.41 percent. Right now in the state of Maryland we have lenders quoting 30 year refi rates as low as 2.875 percent with points. Without points the lowest 30 year mortgage quote is also under 3.00 percent at 2.99 percent.

Mortgage rates today on 30 year jumbo loans are under 4.00 percent again at 3.99 percent, down from yesterday's average 30 year jumbo mortgage rate of 4.07 percent. This is the first time in a couple of months that 30 year jumbo mortgage refinance rates are averaging below 4.00 percent.

You can already find lenders quoting 30 year jumbo refinance rates below the average of 3.99 percent. Currently in the state of Virginia, we have two lenders quoting 30 year jumbo refi rates at an incredibly low rate of 3.625 percent with points. The lowest 30 year jumbo rate without points is at 3.75 percent.

Current mortgage rates on 15 year jumbo home loans are averaging 3.34 percent, a slight decline from yesterday's average 15 year jumbo rate of 3.35 percent. On our rate tables for California we have lenders quoting 15 year jumbo mortgage rates today as low as 3.50 percent with points.
