Mortgage Rates Lower on Election Day: 15 Year Conforming Mortgage Rates Today at 2.82%
As more than 100 million Americans vote today for the next President and control of both houses of Congress average mortgage rates are lower today. Current mortgage rates on 15 year conforming loans are averaging 2.82 percent, a decline from yesterday's average 15 year mortgage rate of 2.83 percent. Regardless of which party wins the White House, today's mortgage rates which are just above record lows will probably make new all-time lows before the end of 2012.
Mortgage rates today 30 year conventional loans are also lower averaging 3.43 percent, down from yesterday's average 30 year conventional mortgage rate of 3.45 percent. Before the end of 2012 we can possibly see 30 year mortgage refinance rates drop as low as 3.15 percent and possibly lower. Imagine seeing a 30 year rate below 3.00 percent on average? Today's refinance rates on 30 year conforming loans can already be found as low as 3.00 percent with points on our rate tables. Right now on our 30 year refinance rates list for New Jersey we have Total Mortgage offering 30 year refinance rates today at 3.00 percent with 2 mortgage points. First Internet Bank and Mortgage Capital Associates are also offering current refinance rates on 30 year loans at 3.00 percent with 2 points. The lowest refinance rate with the lowest points on our New Jersey refinancing rates list is from Amerisave. Current Amerisave refi rates on 30 year loans are at 3.00 percent with 1.22 points. Currently on our Texas refinance rates list for 30 year conforming loans we have one lender offering rates below 3.00 percent! Amerisave is offering 30 year refi rates in Texas at 2.875 percent with 1.903 points. I mentioned average 15 year conforming rates above but didn't mention we have many lenders on our rate table offering 15 year refinance mortgage rates below the average of 2.82 percent. If you live in the state of Florida and are looking for 15 year refinance rates today we have First Internet Bank offering rates at 2.375 percent with 2 mortgage points, Round Point Mortgage also offering rates at 2.375 percent with 2 points and Amerisave offering 15 year rates at 2.375 percent with 1.447 points. Moving onto 30 year jumbo mortgage rates we see the average rate today is at 4.01 percent which is down from Monday's average 30 year jumbo mortgage rate of 4.02 percent. Current jumbo mortgage rates on our rate list for the state of California can be found as low as 3.50 percent with 1.25 points from Home Loan Enterprise. The lowest 30 year jumbo refinance rates without points are from Nations Choice Mortgage at 3.875 percent. Mortgage interest rates today on 15 year jumbo loans are averaging 3.39 percent, a decline from yesterday's average 15 year jumbo mortgage rate of 3.41 percent. If you're looking for a 15 year jumbo mortgage refinance rate in the state of Illinois we have lenders offering rates as low as 3.00 percent with points and without points. Average 5 year conventional adjustable mortgage rates are at 2.88 percent, down from yesterday's average 5 year adjustable mortgage rate of 2.97 percent. The lowest 5 year adjustable mortgage rates with points on our rate list in Massachusetts is at 1.875 percent which is available from two different lenders.
